Umbria Wedding Photographer

This young couple came from the cold lands of Iceland to get married in Umbria, surrounded by green hills,they needed an Umbria Wedding Photographer so they contacted me. An intimate ceremony, with a symbolic rite, held right in front of the main facade of the villa. A wedding full of love, characterized by the presence of beautiful children that brought a touch of magic to and tenderness and, above all, gave me many ideas for truly incredible photos. The couple itself had a splendid little girl who participates in the ceremony, also during the ritual of the ring exchange!

Tenuta di Canonica is a gorgeous villa with a strong character, marked by strong and decisive lines. The structure has large open spaces, ideal to organize dinner outdoors, as for the wedding of Sunna and Bjarni. Despite the very hot and muggy day, everything went smoothly. After the ceremony, the spouses and I took some time for the couple photos. The villa is located on a hill and everywhere around us, there were green hills and beautiful glimpses of the Umbrian countryside that contribute to the creation of dreamy images.

Sunna and Bjarni certainly didn’t need to be guided during the photoshoot. They moved spontaneously and with ease, and, as an Umbria Wedding Photographer, I just needed to shoot at the right time. During the photoshoot, the many wonderful smiles between the two made it clear that there were strong complicity and very deep love. At sunset, everything was ready for the dinner and even during the meal there were moments of strong emotion between the couple and their beautiful families. Once the dinner was over, everyone was ready to party and the first dance was all for the couple!

Everybody was having fun and I made sure to document the best moments before saying goodbye to this beautiful Icelandic couple who allowed me to shoot their Italian wedding. Even if I am a wedding photographer based in Tuscany, I love to travel and reach other wonderful regions and here I had another proof that green Umbria has nothing to envy to the best known and most popular Tuscany.
